Learn to STEELHEAD with Bent Rod

Our newest 3 day course was well received last Steelhead season 2022/2023, so we are offering it again this coming season 2023/2024!

Includes two in-class sessions & one day on the water with Rod & two of your classmates where you will learn tackle preparation & selection, how to read water & identify Steelhead water, game planning, river etiquette, and much more!

The structure of seminar is as follows;

Week 1 (evening 1) 6:30pm-8:30pm (in class)

Week 2 (evening 2) 6:30pm-8:30pm (in class)

Week 3 DAY ON THE RIVER 7:00am-3:00pm (on river, group A)

Week 3 DAY ON THE RIVER 7:00am-3:00pm (on river, group B)

 

*IMPORTANT: You must have your own waders and boots for this day of fishing

-Includes two in class sessions of 2 hrs each, plus one eight hour day on the water with Rod & two of your classmates.

-The two evenings of in house instruction & discussion will be a group of 6 people

-For your day of fishing, your class of 6 people will be broken up into a group of 3 people to fish on two separate days (group A and group B)

-Rod can provide all fishing gear, tackle, and bait - or you are welcome to bring your own

-Snacks & coffee will be provided during in-house instruction

- bait casing reel holding a minimum of 200 yards braided line

Disclaimer

We trust that our valued guests are well informed and able to self govern regarding health and wellness.

Two portions of this event will be held indoors, where all attendees are seated at a table together.

If you feel more comfortable wearing a face covering, this may not be a suitable gathering to attend.

Rod experiences some hearing impairment due to chemotherapy damage, and the face covering can create challenges in clear communication.
