Co-ho-ho

WOW, October 11, 2011 and Coho fishing is off the chart. Me and my clients have been spanking Coho everyday we go out for them. Not only are the Coho large but with the high water they are super fresh and leaving the boat littered with scales. With well over a month of Coho fishing left I am very much looking forward to my days on the water hucking spinners on light action rods with my buddies, my clients.

Of note this week is my annual trip with the Roffey clan. Not only is Wes one of my best friends but he is a big asset to my company. Wes joins me every year at my booth at the Fraser Valley Outdoor Show and in return I take his father John and many of the different family and friends that join him from Ontario , on a day of fishing on one of my boats.  This year we are going to launch a full METAL assault on helpless Harrison River Coho.  Stay tuned for a full pictorial display on my BentRodsGuiding facebook page.

Hope everyone gets out and chases down the great runs of Coho we are having as history tells us their numbers can go from good too bad in a few years.

Don't forget to give our new Bent Rods Spinners a try as they have been a popular piece of coho Salmon lip jewelery this year.

Best of luck on the water the next few weeks.
